Last week Sawyer and I went to camp at Rebecca Farm!
The region flew in two (in my opinion) NE’s in the country; Sali Gear and Terri Rocovich. We had two rides a day, for four days. I wasn’t expecting Sawyer to step up to the plate like he did, and for us to improve together so much. What I was least expecting what how much the NE’s liked him for being my potential C3/B horse.
The best part of the week was being put in the true UL (B candidates) group. While I am an HB, I’m only a C1 traditional riding wise. While being placed in that group was a compliment in itself, I received the best verbal compliment from Sali, “Hayley, while you may only be a C1 you ride like a B.” She couldn’t say enough good things about Sawyer, ether.
Here are some pictures from the week. Since we are in Montana we had everything from downpours to scorching hot weather. For the first time in my existence, I got a burn. It was a sad day in the neighborhood.
